September 13: Jo Davis

Crafting The Winning Series Proposal
Are you on the cusp of publication, so close you can taste success? Are you published, but temporarily stalled? What does it take to get the green light with a publisher, from the editor(s) to the marketing department? With many publishers, the selling point lies far beyond the query and that first shiny chapter. This workshop will take you through the process of crafting a tight proposal, including the inception of your high-concept series idea, the series outline, the synopsis of Book 1, and hooking those first few chapters with fast-paced, can’t-put-down action.
